Working with Parents to Get the Most out of Youth Sports |
A growing number of youth sport leagues at all levels across the country are reporting incidents involving adults behaving inappropriately. Beyond differences in the sport played, the message is alarmingly consistent – a growing number of parents seem to be out of control. The purpose of this session is to outline an innovative new program/initiative designed to help youth sport providers work with and positively engage youth sport parents. Session participants will learn why parents tend to act the way they do and what can be done to improve the overall culture of individual youth sport programs. |
