This session discusses the results of a qualitative study dealing with the importance of administrator support in regard to professional development opportunities for physical educators in a K-12 setting that are undergoing the curriculum revision process. The session will go into detail on the themes that emerged including what administrative support is essential, how teachers need to work together as a unit, curricular revision, the implementation process, content development, and the continuing need for professional development.
