Session 1 provides a brief overview of the K-8 anchor standards and showcase how health education/PE teachers can integrate the Common Core for language arts into a health education curriculum. Session 2 shares strategies for Common Core implementation and provides reproducible activities that focus on student facilitation, literacy, and other CC objectives. Session 3 Strategies presented on how to align NHES and RttT goals to 21st CCLC requirements while developing children’s health literacy and promoting health education.
