In order for teachers to meet the needs of ALL learners, he/she must understand the constraints learners face. This interactive session will help teachers understand Newell’s Model of Constraints and their impact on sports/motor skill performance. By understanding/assessing constraints, we can design instruction to manipulate the task & environment not the learner! Participants will observe/co-facilitate a session of children with and without disabilities from the area showcasing differentiated instruction in small and large group formats.
