This session is for individuals looking for strategies to better advocate for physical education and physical activity at the local school or district level. Information shared will include advice from policy makers on how to be approached, examples of recent local-level physical education advocacy efforts by teachers, and simple data collection strategies to support advocacy. In addition, a collaborative discussion will be facilitated in order to allow attendees to share their own local advocacy experiences.
