This workshop will explicate the realities of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer students in secondary education settings. Drawing on the wealth of experiences of the participants we can begin to envision support systems for LGBTQ students that honor their various histories and multiple salient identities. This will be framed through a social justice lens and information will be shared regarding "better" practices, ultimately providing educators new ways to collaborate with sexual/gender "minority" students.
