589 The New American Arts Form of African American Cultural Dance

Mr. Frank R. Ross, Author of NDA produced “Soul Dancing”, will conduct a workshop surrounding the latest empirical research on African American cultural dance and its inclusion into Dance Education. Physical Education teachers, dance enthusiasts and educators in general are encouraged to attend. Educators will learn that by meeting state and national standards, of learning dances from different cultures and historic time periods, their students will benefit. This workshop will be both informative and interactive.
