No one questions the benefit of physical activity (PA) for the aging adult, yet incorporating PA into community-based residential (CBR) facilities can be met with resistance. This presentation documents how one CBR facility moved from a 'didn't offer' to a regular, structured PA program for their assisted, and skilled nursing clients and their memory care residents while offering additional PA opportunities to their independent living clients. Strategies, stories, and activities will be shared.
