Headlines are laden with stories about “crazy sports parents,” thus eliciting the critical question: what constitutes a "good sports parent"? This workshop aims to answer this question through discussions and evaluations of stories related to “parents gone bad” or “parents trying to be good.” The ultimate goal is to provide suggestions for attendees to work with parents in creating a more positive athletic environment and experience for all involved.
