This session addresses a pressing issue for future health promotion professionals: students need hands-on work experience to secure top-notch internships/jobs. Conversely, corporations need affordable ways to reduce health care costs and minimize health risks. This session demonstrates how students and faculty at one university formed symbiotic partnerships to implement three thriving corporate wellness programs. The educational/behavioral/environmental aspects will be addressed. Attendees will receive materials to implement student-facilitated wellness programs in corporations, hospitals or schools.
