Parents not only play a critical role in their children’s lives, they influence their children’s health behaviors. This session includes two studies that assessed the role of parental involvement in improving youth’s weight related health behaviors. Another research project examined the effectiveness of a parent/teen driving orientation during the first year of teen driving. The authors of those research studies will share the results of their studies, their experiences and lessons.
