AAHPERD’s Let’s Move in School (LMIS) initiative is designed to promote comprehensive school physical activity programs (CSPAP) nationwide. A key element of this initiative is the Director of Physical Activity certification program that equips physical educators with the knowledge, skills, and attitude to take on the lead role in implementing a CSPAP in their school. This session will provide a brief overview of LMIS, CSPAP, and an in-depth discussion of the DPA certification program.
