Dancing requires meaningful integration of one’s inner and outer physical being. In technique classes, training the body to become attuned to both helps us dance expressively and efficiently. Grounded in somatics, explore the meaning of and potential key to visual thinking that is essential to movement by refining and further discovering function and expression. Begin with imagery and gentle preparation selected from various somatic modalities, then expand into choreographic structures and performance constructs.
