This session will describe the coordinated effort a university PETE faculty and a local school district followed to establish a k-12 district-wide curriculum. Strategies used throughout the process will be discussed including the initial steps taken, participants involved, barriers addressed and outcomes achieved that helped to bridge the gap and build the curriculum. This will be an interactive session for PETE faculty, district coordinators, lead teachers, and physical educators.
