'Peaceful Play' is an evidenced-based sport intervention that describes levels of conflict in sport and strategies for resolution as a means of fostering understanding, tolerance, and peace. Session participants will gain an understanding of practical applications of these strategies through the results of a pilot program in the conflict-affected region of Northern Uganda. Discussions will take place on how sport can be part of a holistic approach to building sustained peace within communities in conflict.
