Project SKIP, Successful Kinesthetic Instruction for Preschoolers, is an evidence based motor skill program that meets the "Active Start" guidelines that includes preschoolers from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds across the United States and other countries. This presentation will share the evidence-based findings of SKIP and demonstrate a variety of SKIP activities that are developmentally appropriate, promote moderate to vigorous physical activity, and enhance fundamental motor skill competence of preschoolers using a creative and thematic approach.
