This session will highlight the integration of the Diffusion of Effective Behavioral Intervention (DEBI) program, Sisters Informing Sisters on Topics About AIDS (SISTA) into a Health and Wellness course. A discussion about the use of peer educators as facilitators in the classroom for this intervention for African American females at a historically black college and university will be highlighted. The session will provide the logistics for integrating this evidence-based HIV intervention into an academic course.
