One of the greatest fears of older adults is loss of independence. This interactive session is designed for health and physical educators who are interested in learning how to develop a synergistic approach to helping seniors maintain their independence, which in turn will increase their quality of life. An overview of the aging process and how creating better posture, improving balance, and increasing strength and flexibility can help promote and maintain independence will be presented.
