This session addresses a pressing issue for future health promotion professionals: students need hands-on work experience to secure top-notch jobs. Conversely, corporations need affordable ways to reduce health care costs and minimize health risks. This session demonstrates how students and faculty at one university formed symbiotic partnerships to implement three thriving wellness programs. Educational, behavioral, and environmental aspects will be addressed, with attendees receiving materials to implement student-facilitated wellness programs in corporations, hospitals or schools.
