Unfortunately, most U.S. coaches take to the fields with little, if any formal training. In most states, hairstylists are required to have more training than coaches working with development athletes. Coaching education models that are available often under-prepare coaches for the human performance sciences in modern sport. This program will discuss the education needs of coaches and explore different cultural models of CE in and out of PE based programs. Open discussion will be encouraged.
