Physical Education Teacher Education programs have historically included motor development coursework. However, information specific to sensory integration theory is not always included as a part of such coursework. This session is designed to “re-introduce” SI theory and demonstrate the physical educator’s critical role in the Gross Motor Assessment Team process. Participants will experience a variety of fun activities designed to promote sensory integration, cross-lateral integration, sensory stimulation and discrimination. Come prepared to be STIMULATED!
