This presentation will introduce data mining methods by a demonstration of using the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) dataset. An overview of the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM), and predictive modeling techniques will be presented. This presentation is suitable for researchers and graduate students who are interested in exploratory data analysis from large datasets for knowledge discovery.
