It is beneficial to share the lessons learned from collaborations between school physical education and teacher education programs. Such efforts typically benefit all parties. However, collaboration is not always easy to establish and sustain, and the goals and structure ultimately vary from program to program. The purpose of this presentation is to describe the lessons learned from a decade of collaboration between a high school physical education department and a university teacher preparation program.
