This hands-on session will provide opportunities for participants to discuss and experience Adventure Based Learning (ABL) designed for elementary age students. Specifically the workshop will introduce participants to: a) the sequence of ABL activities, b) facilitation skills, and c) the Sunday Afternoon Drive debrief model which is designed specifically for novice facilitators. Participants will receive materials for a 10-day ABL unit designed for Elementary School and the Sunday Afternoon Drive debrief model.
