In this session, West African dance acts as the model for successful residencies involving youth. Participants view a brief DVD presentation and create a dance. Music and poetry are encouraged to enhance the movement. Learn how dance becomes a gateway to educating, inspiring, and challenging individuals to maximize their potential. Explore ways to engage, develop, and inspire our young people. Intended audience: dance specialists and all interested in youth programming.
