This session explores the behaviors of student-athletes through the lens of their postings on social media sites. Colleges and universities are using the web to “screen” students and especially student-athletes. This discussion will address best practices when it comes to speaking with student-athletes and their coaches about the personal and public impact of social media, hazing, harassment and alcohol abuse.
