This informational and participatory session will focus on the great potential of Nordic walking as a lifetime fitness activity which can be easily introduced in the school and community recreational settings. The program will examine the equipment, the anatomical and mechanical aspects the skills involved, along with the physiological and psychological benefits of the activity. Nordic walking is an easy to do, economical, highly effective means to develop and maintain health related fitness.
