Join the NDA Board of Directors in honoring the 2011 Scholar/Artist, Karen Kaufmann of The University of Montana. In her lecture "Movement as a Metaphor: Changing a Culture through Dance", Kaufmann outlines the challenges and successes in advocating for school dance programs. Approaches described: interdisciplinary curriculum, professional development, performances, and after-school programs. Discover dance imagery inherent in this noble pursuit.
