Inspiring and sustaining a young womanís motivation in sport can be a difficult task. However, a teamís culture can have a profound impact on an athleteís motivation. This session assembles panelists, representing the fields of coaching and sports psychology, to discuss psychosocial variables found in a teamís culture that affect motivation. In an attempt to help both the practitioner and researcher, the panel will strive to practically bridge theory, research, and practice.
