Athletes’ performance in competition may not have a positive linear relationship between physical and technical talents and athletic performance in competition. In fact, an athlete’s sports personality can play a significant role of contributing to their performance in competition, especially for women athletes. This presentation will examine the roles of sports personality contributing to athletic performance and specific strategies of training an athletes’ winning sports personality traits. The women athletes’ personality profile is emphasized.
