Explore the “literal green” and “save-the-earth green” through creative movement experiences. The “literal green” will focus on language arts movement activities including alliteration, spelling, and vocabulary development. Recycling, conservation, and smart shopping are stimuli for “save-the-earth green” movement experiences. K-12 physical educators, classroom teachers and dance specialists will engage in sample lesson vignettes. Standards based lesson development will be modeled and based on Laban’s movement framework.
