748 Developing Policies and Procedures for the Athletic Training Environment

CEU OPPORTUNITY: The purpose of this presentation is to provide athletic trainers and administrators with a foundation for examining and/or developing policies and procedures for the athletic training facility. Current research on risk management practices of collegiate athletic trainers related to policies and procedures will be discussed. Attendees will be presented with resources from professional position statements, standards of practice, federal regulations, case law, state licensure, and athletic organization medical handbooks.
