Research has clearly defined the benefit of physical activity and academic mentoring for teenage girls. Foster youth are a unique population that has been underserved in these areas. Presentation will focus on the development, implementation and outcomes of a University/community collaborative that provides physical activity and academic mentoring for adolescent female foster youth. This collaborative was designed to build self-efficacy through participation in physical activities with University Physical Education and Kinesiology students and athletes.
