229 Strengthening Health Education through the Alliance for a Healthier Generation

This session will provide best practices for planning and implementing health education in grades K-12 as outlined by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. Participants will: 1) have an in-depth view of the health education criteria, 2) become familiar with the many health education tools and resources available free for schools, and 3) learn about technical assistance that can be provided to help schools develop and implement quality, standards-based health education programs.
