A Forum on Building Confidence in Sport |
CEU OPPORTUNITY: Likely the single most important quality an athlete needs is confidence. All aspects of physical and mental performance are affected by, and effect, confidence. An open forum will be held with the purpose of practically examining sources of confidence including visualization, and processes that influence confidence such as self-handicapping, goal setting, and rewards. The focus will be on generating best practices for building confidence in young athletes, and then maintaining in pressure and/or adverse situations. |
