The National Coaching Report: Findings, Recommendations, and Advocacy
CEU OPPORTUNITY: Approximately 47 million youth take part in sport activities each year. The high level of participation requires sport administrators to rely on non-faculty and volunteer coaches, without whom there can be no programs. The purpose of this session is to highlight the NASPE National Coaching Report’s findings and recommendations. Strategies for using the NCR as an advocacy tool to make positive changes in coaching education requirements for interscholastic and youth sport coaches will be discussed.
