Current Trends in Youth Sports Injuries
CEU OPPORTUNITY: The goal of this course is to provide sports medicine professionals with timely information related to the current trends associated with youth sports injuries. Topics include epidemiological factors associated with youth sports injuries, common injuries involved with specific youth sports, trends in protective equipment, emergency planning, and injury prevention. The impact of increased youth sport participation, especially for females, will be discussed as it relates to medical care and coverage, financial impact, and future planning.
