| Beyond our Borders to the Middle East: Sport, Gender, Ethnicity |
| The Sport History, Philosophy, and Sociology Academy Forum will begin with a keynote presentation by Dr. Doris Corbett. The presentation will address the inclusion and exclusion of women in sport specifically in the Arab Middle-Eastern countries. Their cultures, the relationship of sport to gender and ethnicity; and the role of sport as an agent of social change will be discussed. All attendees are welcome and encouraged to stay for the business meeting that follows. |
