Using HAPPE to Promote Motor Skill Learning and Physical Activity |
CEU OPPORTUNITY: National initiatives are in place to promote motor skill development and physical activity (NASPE, 2002). These efforts have provided empirical support for high autonomy physical play and education (HAPPE). HAPPE motivates children to engage in skill development and physical activity, especially those from underrepresented groups. This symposium will provide an overview of the past ten years of research along with best practices as it relates to skill development and physical activity. |
