The posters selected for presentation in this session represent the highest peer review rated abstracts in poster format in each of the Research Consortium categories. This session also includes the abstract selected as the winner of the 2006 Research Consortium's Graduate Student Research Award and a special subarea on the methods and findings of Research Consortium Grants awarded in 2004 and 2005. It is truly an honor to be selected for the Research Consortium convention program and to be featured in the Consortium’s annual poster social. The Research Consortium acknowledges the contributions each of these authors has made to the body of research in the fields of health, physical education, recreation and dance.
