NASPE’s New Government Relations Manager Presents: How You and NASPE Can Work Together to Affect Policy and Funding at the Federal and State Levels

NASPE will be working harder than ever to represent the professions’ interests on Capitol Hill and with relevant federal agencies, play a key role in national health and education advocacy coalitions, and provide advocacy assistance to district and state AHPERDs. Come meet NASPE’s new Government Relations Manger, Mike Ochs, and find out about NASPE’s current and planned activities including development of a public policy agenda (e.g., NCLB, PEP, coaching certification) as well as new advocacy tools, electronic legislative updates, and training opportunities.
