NASPE/National Association for Sport and Physical Education
All-Academy Symposium - Physical Activity in Post Secondary School and College/University Young Adults
The eight NASPE Research Academies will once again collaborate and provide their academy specific perspective on facilitating physical activity in the post secondary and college/university young adult. Traditionally NASPE has focused more on promoting physical activity for K-12 students. After high school physical activity and physical education continue to be important factors in combating obesity and the diseases associtated with an inactive lifestyle. More so for those who had little or no physical education through out their secondary schooling. This symposium will attempt to convey the current research in this area.
