The Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences: Curriculum Standardization Through Accreditation
The Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (CoAES) is a member of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). The CoAES exists to create and maintain standards and guidelines for educational programs in exercise science and exercise physiology, as well as to accredit institutions that deliver curriculums that meet or exceed these standards and guidelines. This session is for university administrators and faculty interested in the importance of standardizing curriculums that enhance the ability of students to successfully enter into professions related to the exercise sciences.
