| This presentation is intended for PreK-12 physical education teachers and those in leadership positions. The purpose of the presentation will be to empower the attendees to utilize the public relation tools presented and adapt them to their own individual roles. Advocacy tools, methods and strategies that promote the physical education profession will be shared. Three specific topics to be covered are: (1) Publications, (2) NASPE and AAHPERD programs and (3) Present issues. All attendees will have access to Power Point presentations and “Talking Point” handouts that can be customized for individual work sites. Resources available from AAHPERD, NASPE, and the CDC will be shared. |
