A Russian Fitness Approach to Sports and Fitness: The Burdenko Method
The Burdenko Method is a land and water based conditioning and training program that spans all ages and levels of fitness. Coaches, Athletic Trainers, PE instructors, therapists, aquatic instructors and dance trainers can use this program. It is applicable for beginners to peak level athletes and has proven successful by Olympic skiers and ice skaters, ballerinas, tri-athletes and many others in sports/fitness. Participants will learn the six qualities of movement and the principles of the Burdenko Method. They will then learn how to apply these principles into fitness programs at all levels.
