Promoting Conceptual Physical Education with Integrated Active Technology
Attendees will learn how to reinforce conceptual health-related fitness curricula using integrated, active technology. Attendees will learn how students can increase their fitness knowledge and skills as a result of engaging in a concepts based physical education program and how technology can reinforce student learning. The conceptual fitness physical education program will be overviewed using the Classroom Performance System. The Classroom Performance System will be used to highlight how fitness concepts and principles can be learned in a movement setting providing instant feedback and how each individual student's achievement can be tracked with ease by the physical education teacher.
