Coaches Being Sued for Coaching
Recently in the United States coaches have come under fire for being coaches. Athletes and parents are suing coaches for not playing or cutting their son or daughter from the team. Times are changing, and we need to examine this new type of lawsuit to see what state and federal courts are saying. What do coaches and administrators need to know about these lawsuits and can they be avoided? Unfortunately, we live in a very litigious society, and we need to be prepared for this new wave of lawsuits.
