The Criss Crossers jump rope demo team consists of
students in grades 2 through 5 from Endeavour Intermediate School in the Fife School District. They are one of four Jump Rope For Heart demo teams in Western Washington that travel and perform at school assemblies, and advocate the importance of physical fitness and heart healthy living through jump roping and other activities.
The team, formed in 2007, is coached by Henry Rivera, a physical education teacher at Endeavour Intermediate School. He has 13 years experience as a jump rope coach, having also led the team at White Center Heights. He is dedicated to educating and providing opportunities for young people to become self motivated and physically fit. The Criss Crossers are very proud that they have a hand in saving people’s lives and changing the way they exercise and diet.
