The scholarship emanating from Motor Behavior can provide physical educators with a sound rationale for their instructional decisions. Applying a scientific basis to the organization of skill learning can positively influence physical education pedagogy and thus enhance student learning. Practice and feedback are two essential components of skill learning and have been extensively researched in the literature; applications from this literature will be discussed. Several implementation strategies for physical education teachers to enhance student learning will be provided.
