Injuries in physical education can’t be prevented, but steps can be taken to be proactive in maintaining safe programs. The focus of the session is to offer participants a greater understanding of negligence and risk management. This interactive presentation will include a discussion of current case law; teaching scenarios; risks in pictures; and, risk management techniques to use. Participants will leave knowing how to identify risks and the appropriate risk management strategies to implement.
